IFAF Bowhunter Championships
28th & 29th of September
For this one, we’re requiring pre-registration so we can ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible on the day. There’s a button for that down below, but first, we’re going to hash out some details!
We’ll be running bowcheck on both days from 8:30am to 9:30am, so make sure you’re there in good time to get set up and examined. Shooting will commence at 10am, so there’s a bit of time for milling around once you’re ready to go.
We’ll have our woods divided into two areas – Course 1 is 3D Standard and Course 2 is UAR. If you shoot both days, you’ll get a go on both, but we’ll be dividing it up based on bow style, hence the need for pre-registration. We won’t know who’s going to be where until closer to the time when we have a good number of registered archers, so please don’t ask!
To qualify for a medal, you need to shoot both days so you can do both events. Also, only registered IFAF members can win the perpetual trophies on offer.
We’ll be setting up both sides of our woods into two 28 target courses, so we can divide people up efficiently (and save ourselves a tonne of work resetting the course on Saturday evening).
Same as always, there’s no camping at the woods, so you’ll have to make other arrangements if you’re looking to stay the night. Laois Tourism have a list of accomodation options that you can check out by clicking here.
Fees:
Adult 1 Day: €15
Adult 2 Day: €25
Child 1 Day: €7.50
